Yemen helped shape coffee drinking
Coffee's plant history is tied to Ethiopia, but Yemen is central to the story of coffee cultivation, preparation, trade, and the social culture around the cup.
Our Story
Before Yemeni Corner is an online shop, it is a coffee house: a place for traditional drinks, family flavors, late conversations, and the kind of warmth that makes a cup feel generous.
Yemen and Coffee
Coffee's plant history is tied to Ethiopia, but Yemen is central to the story of coffee cultivation, preparation, trade, and the social culture around the cup.
Mocha, on Yemen's Red Sea coast, became famous as a coffee-exporting center. Its name traveled so far that it still lives in coffee language today.
The Harraz area is known in specialty coffee for Yemeni mountain coffee and terraced landscapes. For Yemeni Corner, that heritage adds context, depth, and a warm cup profile without becoming the product name.
Cafe Hospitality
Adeni tea, Mufawar coffee, Sana'ani coffee, Qishr, pistachio lattes, date lattes, and cold refreshers are not just a list of drinks. They are the way Yemeni Corner introduces people to spice, sweetness, texture, and hospitality.
Yemeni Corner Signature Blend
At Home
Brew the cafe ritual at home with our flagship medium roast whole bean coffee, built around warm spice, cocoa, and dried fruit notes.
